The last stage of Armageddon will hit Pittsburgh on July 4th! No, it isn’t the end of the world, but rather the end of the biggest laser tag tournament in existence. From July 1st to 4th, seven teams of eight players will travel through Ohio and Pittsburgh battling each other at multiple laser tag systems. Some include: Laser Storm, Tron, Darklight, Qzar and Blast. These players are gathering not only from the Pittsburgh area, but also Ohio, Canada, Scotland, England and Sweden.
Laser Storm Pittsburgh, located on McKnight Road, will be hosting the last leg of the tournament from 8AM to 12PM on Independence Day, adding another tournament to the list of the many they have hosted since 1997. While Armageddon will be the first international tournament to come to this store, the National tournaments they have hosted have included players from Ohio, Michigan, Kansas, Florida, and even as far as Colorado and California.
Laser Storm laser tag has multiple levels of play to satisfy anyone, whether it be a competitive player or someone playing their first game. Laser Storm Pittsburgh offers a tutorial to any new players and offers a yearly membership available to qualify for special member events. Furthermore, leagues are hosted every Monday with drafted teams focusing on practicing for bigger tournaments, such as Regional and National tournaments.
Armageddon which is in its 11th year, is focused on finding out who has the best laser tag team across the board. Many players are skilled in one or two systems, but rarely multiple systems.
